William Folwell Hoisington - Shingebis (⁕ 11. března 1904, Saint Davids, Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States – † 5. dubna 1988, Peterborough, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, United States) , syn Julie May Folwell Hoisington a Fredericka Reeda Hoisingtona, a mladší bratr Frederick Reed Hoisington Jr. a Elizabeth Folwell Hoisington.
Byl rovněž woodcrafterem a jejich matka o svých dětech a jejich woodcrafterské činnosti napsala ve spolupráci s Lillian Elizabeth Roy autobiografickou knížku "Woodcraft Boys at Sunset Island", vydanou r. 1919.
V lednu 1914, v rámci rubriky Around the Camp Fire publikoval Seton v Boys’ Life jak přišel ke svému lesnímu jménu.[1]
